Bristol Good Food Award judges gathered at Ashton Gate for a full day of judging the very best local produce on Tuesday, November 1.
All our shortlisted producers sent in boxes of delicious goodies for the day of expert tasting, while Ashton Gate chefs prepared it all for the judges’ deliberations. All 18 categories were then put through their tasting paces and, after some serious discussion and disagreement, the winners were chosen.
We can’t reveal who picked up which gong quite yet. All will be unveiled at the gala awards ceremony taking place at Ashton Gate on Sunday, November 13.
The local producers awards will run alongside the awards for the best restaurants, delis, cafés, chefs and pubs in Bristol at a glittering evening designed to celebrate the very best of Bristol’s thriving foodie scene.
Food on the night will be cooked by brilliant local Michelin award winning chef Josh Eggleton, with wine chosen by celebrated wine write Angela Mount.
